2. Overview
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking tools, or social-media plugins. Fonts are self-hosted on this server and are not loaded from the Google Fonts CDN. No evaluation of usage behaviour takes place.
3. Hosting (GitHub Pages)
This website is hosted on GitHub Pages, a service of GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. When you visit this site, GitHub automatically processes server log data (IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser/user-agent information) to deliver the site and to maintain its security. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functional and secure website). Any transfer of data to the USA takes place on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
4. Contact form & email
If you contact us via the contact form or by email, we collect the data you provide (name, email address, organisation, topic, message) in order to process your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your enquiry relates to the initiation of a contract, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your enquiry). The contact form is processed by a Google Apps Script web app: your details are not sent as email but written directly into the Guanxin mailbox hosted on Google Workspace. The processor is Google Ireland Limited under Google's Cloud Data Processing Addendum, with a possible transfer to Google servers in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. Your data is deleted once your enquiry has been fully resolved, unless statutory retention obligations apply (e.g. for business correspondence under the German Commercial Code/Fiscal Code, HGB/AO).
5. Booking a call
The "Book a scoping call" link leads to a Google Calendar appointment page. Only once you click that link and provide information there does Google process that data under its own terms and privacy notices. No data is transferred to Google before you click.
6. External links
This website contains links to LinkedIn, the Apple App Store, Google Play, Circle (Singfinger Club) and blog.guanxin.de. These are plain links; visiting this page does not itself transfer any data to those providers. Only once you click a link does that provider's own privacy policy apply.
7. Your rights
Under Art. 15–21 GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to object to the processing of your data. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, e.g. the Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen (LDI NRW).
8. Automated decision-making
No automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
